Bringing Nyah home to Isle of Lewis
Introducing Nyah, my second home. I went over to the mainland to collect her with Jenny. Due to the high winds the ferries were cancelled most of the week when I had planned everything. Eventually we took a flight to Inverness. Caught the train to Stirling which was delayed for over an hour so I had the money returned on the ticket. We stayed at the Munro Guest House in Stirling. Very comfortable and we had a warm welcome from host Richard and his dog Harley. Richard very kindly gave us a lift to CampervanCo in Denny the next morning.
It took rather longer to go over Nyah and sort out some teething issues. Luckily the ferry going back was delayed by a couple of hours. Even then I was 10 minutes late to check in! Ferry eventually left Ullapool at 9pm and I was back home with Nyah at midnight.
