Wild flower meadow near Stogumber, Somerset

This was my first visit to this wonderful meadow but it has been going for the last few days.  The farmer has had lots of publicity this year and there are lots of photographs of the meadow.  The charity this year is Elliot's touch - https://www.elliotstouch.org

These are my images of the meadow.

To Northumberland and Scotland

I booked on a workshop with Whistlebare which is south of Berwick then arranged a week around it. I drove to Stanley staying at Hotel 52 in order to visit the Beamish museum.  Managed to spend a couple of hours at the museum before checking in to the hotel.  I think I prefer the Black Country museum but Beamish will be worth visiting again when a new hotel and a 1950s town is built.

I drove up to Cornhill on Tweed via Washington WWT and my friends Mary and Terry at Ponteland.  Mary had lunch waiting for me.  It was good to catch up.  Poor Terry was still recovering from yet another accident with his bike.  A motorist hit him and then drove off leaving him lying in the road!!!!

spent Friday exploring mainly Ford, Ford Moss nature reserve and Etal before having dinner at the golf course in Coldstream.  Not a lot of choice for early food around but golf courses are always a good option instead of the pub.

Spotted 3 yellowhammers but heard lots on my circular walk around the reserve

Saturday was the day of the workshop.  Hosted by Alice Elsworth of Whistlebare, the workshop was run by Karie Westermann.  It was certainly a Grand Day out.  We visited the farm with all the new borns, had a good chat about knitting and came away with lots of wool.

Stopped off at Twizel Bridge before the workshop

Managed a quick snap of this Wensleydale lamb before the ewes clustered around it and blocked the lamb from view

I checked out of The Birdcage, my B & B for 3 nights - very comfortable and moved on to Scotland.  I spent a few hours in North Berwick watching the gannets before driving to my next B & B Dunclutha Guest House in Leven.

On the way up to North Berwick

Visited in Dundee on Monday and then to Falkland Palace.  Rained in Dundee and was sunny in Falkland but with black clouds hovering.

Spent awhile taking images of street art on the walk into Dundee from the free car park.  This is a  collage with background from an exhibit in the V & A

A fashion show was being shown on film in the V & A making for some interesting images

Walking back to the car, the rain clouds are gathering
