Summer on Lewis

Finally caught up with photos.  I have two lots of visitors in June and July.  It was good to show off the island but meant I took lots of images which I have only just managed to process.  It will be a year on 21st July since I came to live here.  I will probably only post if is something different from last year - or better images!

There is a huge carpet of sea thrift at Broadbay.  It gets covered by the tide.

Since the rats have been eradicated more birds have returned

Thats all for awhile.  I am going to enjoy the rest of the summer - wild swimming and more exploring.
