Dorset with the annual walking group

Back with the women I first started power walking with in Woking.  The group has expanded to other walkers all friends of friends.  There were 13 of us in Dorset at the Old Manor House in Almer.  Lots of food, talk and singing during the week and some walking.

We were discussing when and where we had been.  We started at the Pudding Club in about 2005 which is before this blog.  On this blog I have the following outings with the group -

2007 Aberdovey Wales
2008 The Pudding Club weekend
2009 Aberdovey for the second time
2010 Derbyshire in September
2012 Isle of Wight
2013 Lake District weekend
2015 Malmesbury and Porlock

About 10 of us met up on Friday and had a meal of lasagne from Jane and Rachel.  Saturday was a rainy day but we still managed to get out and make something of the day.  Off to Wareham and Blue Pool.

I have lost all the photos from Monday due to my error in thinking I had copied them on the computer but I hadn't!  We went to Durlstone Country Park then on to Knowle beach before meeting up with Jane and Joan who had picked up Jean from Poole station.  We had been joined by Rose too.  Some lovely photos posed by the naturist sign on Knowle beach but of course I don't have them.  Then a walk from Harry's rocks on the coast path and we saw a few early lambs.  Had some cute shots of them too!

On Tuesday I went off to Arne as the others were walking from Lulworth Cove to Durdle Door which I had done last weekend.  We met at Monkey World in the afternoon.

On Thursday the sun came out and we finally had a longer walk of 5.5 miles at Kimmeridge Bay.  I had to leave early so made my way home after the walk.
