Derbyshire with Alpine Bridge

Another enjoyable week of walking and bridge with Trevor, Marion and Paul, featured below posing on the Losehill walk. We stayed at Losehill Hotel - a very luxurious and comfortable stay. I can recommend staying here but probably leave out Saturday as the hotel is doing very well with weddings and it may be full.

The first walk on Sunday to Winhill. Max the border collie was the star of the week and features most in the photos.

Hope's well dressings and scarecrows and the inside of the church. Theme this year is nursery rhymes and cartoons. My favourite is the Tom and Jerry one.

Monday's walk to Losehill and Mam Tor.

Tuesday was a day off and four of us went to Chatsworth. I tried to walk around the bits I missed in the gardens last year. It took me nearly all the time we had there and I still have parts of the gardens to see. I will be back. Two girls were feeding the ducklings - I didn't know ducks could jump.

Wednesday's walk from Litton car park to the pub - the long way round. We then went on to Eyam - the plague village.

Last walk on Thursday then Trevor took us on a detour to Peak Cavern.

A couple of photos from Lyme Park where I visited on Friday.
