Discover Poland by Great Rail Journeys
Seven years ago, my mum and I took a Great Rail Journey to Italy and met up with Mary, Terry, Pat and David. I was invited to stay with Mary and Terry when I did the Gt North Run together with the power walking girls, one of them being Yvonne. A reunion was arranged on the Discover Poland trip with Yvonne taking mum's place. These are a 'few' photos of the 400 I took on the trip. A great time was had by all - well we had plenty of laughs.

On the way back from Auschwitz. Terry wanted a photo of this plane which David saw on our forward journey. Thanks to David's directions, I managed a quick snap as we drove past.
Our last afternoon in Kracow. Had to take a photo of the cat to prove to Terry that we did see a cat in the city.

Red the dragon finally made it out of my rucksack when he discovered real coffee in the salt mines. Terry and I enjoyed one of the best espressos in a tourist destination. Red wanted to pose with Pat and Yvonne too.
Lunch time.

Arrived in Warsaw for two days. Pat and David showing off their lunch in a lovely but expensive (comparative to Kracow) restaurant in the old town. Various views of Warsaw.
Yvonne and I took the 180 bus and discovered the Wilanow Palace at the end. We spent a few pleasant hours here including the cheapest lunch in Warsaw.
