Edinburgh Tattoo trip

I needed a tripod for the Tattoo but there was little space on the seats as we were packed in sardines. It still was an experience I will remember - a fantastic show and a great atmosphere. The BBC were filming on the day I was there. At one time one of the cameramen was in danger of being mown down by the big drum.









As we were staying in a hotel in Irvine some 68 miles from Edinburgh, we went off to Ayr for the day after the Tattoo. Then back to Taunton via Bowness. A few snaps from Bowness follow.
