Photography workshop in Cornwall 6th-9th November

I attended an excellent photo workshop in Cornwall with David Morton and Nick Cable.  The other attendees were Ed and Stevie, Martin, Graham, and Jane.  We were based at a lovely seaside house in Sennen Cove.  Very comfortable with a lovely picture window overlooking the sea.  We dined at the "The Old Success" - service a little slow but the food is worth it - every night.

The evening before, I spent with Pauline at Minehead, photographing fireworks.  The first time I have practiced this after doing the workshop with Lee Pengelly about 2 or 3 years ago!

Finally found a location to shoot from

Finally some fireworks

Martin drove us down the next day and we arrived at 2 pm.  Parked in the harbour carpark and had a wander, snapping as we went.

It was fairly windy and showery the next day.  A few hardy souls got up for the sunrise.  Having not slept most of the night, I decided to lie in until 7 am.  We were all ready to go by 9 am.  First stop was at Port Nanven.  A happy morning spent here.  David and Nick always on hand to assist with any queries.

One thing about rain - you can take rainbows

We stopped at St Just for lunch

Craig - a very obliging model with lots of interesting things in his shop.

Afternoon spent at Marazion

One of the reasons I do not like nor use plastic bags.

We tried to take photos at Botallick but it was too windy.  We postponed it until Saturday.   I slept in again on Saturday.  We spent the morning in Sennen - lots of things to snap around the harbour.

Finally made it to Botallick for Saturday afternoon

Then we played outside

On Sunday we spent the morning at Godrevy before departing back home.  First, I finally managed to get up for the sunrise.

Thank you David and Nick.  I can definitely recommend the workshop.
