New Year's Day on the Quantocks

My sister Ady, my friend Susan and I joined Yvette Staelens on a singing walk from Triscombe stone to Hurley Beacon.  We sang at places on route and stopped off at a tree to tie on ribbons and wishes.   A great afternoon was had by all.

See more about Yvette at http://www.rootsquartet.com/.

Someone mentioned a tradition of walking around the stone 3 times, then spitting on it and making a wish!

Horses on route.  I spotted the deer but too late to take a photo.

Huddling like penquins to sing in the cold wind

This man warned us he was about to let his dogs out.  There are more but they have run out of the picture.
