Wassail at Redhill Farm

A few of the choir joined others at Redhill Farm on the evening of 30th January to take part in the Wassail.  We all practised the song to sing to the apple trees then went out into the darkness to sing, toast bread, dip it in cider and put the toast on the trees.  Back to the barn for soup and nibbles.  A good time was had by all.

The images were taken with the twilight mode of my little Sony to give you a record of what went on.

Pip with a basket of eggs for us to choose.  Two coloured eggs would denote the king and queen.
