Wonderwool fair at Bulith Wells, Wales

If you like knitting, felting, weaving, crocheting or anything to do with wool, this is the place to be.  I stayed a couple of nights at the Three Wells Hotel in Howey.  An expensive weekend as there are many temptations at the fair.  I also had time to spend an hour at Gigrin farm, watching the red kites feeding.

A few images from the weekend.

Reflection in the lake in front of Three Wells Hotel

A composite of the same lamb looking as if it is walking on the fence

These guys were being curious

I had to wait until the swan moved to get closer to the sheep in the field

One of the two ducklings on the lake

Still waiting for some light and about to give up when this polka dot sheep came into the field.
I bought a dragon to knit as well

Wool fashion

There were two alpacas sleeping but awoke in an instant when a dog came into view.  Thereafter they were happy to pose or kiss the customers.

At last, some lambs gambolling -taken while waiting for the feeding of kites to start

Rooks also waiting for the feeding to start

About 200 taken of kites and a happy hour spent
