My Olympic experience Part II
I had a lazy morning on my first Monday. Met my ex power walker friends at Bel Amicos in West Byfleet for my double espresso fix. I went into town and pottered around Royal Festival Hall taking photos before going to Horseguards Parade to start my first late shift.
I am not sure what time the Evening Standard reporter went through town (the one who said it was not busy). Everytime I was at Southbank, Whitehall and Trafalgar Square, it was packed.
