From Derbyshire to Yorkshire
I set off on Saturday for Hawes, Yorkshire. A coffee stop in Chapel le Frith then a couple of hours at the Chestnut Centre to photograph otters, owls and deer.
I was on holiday with Alpine Bridge at the lovely Simonstone hotel in Hawes. After a tiring journey it was a delight to find I had been upgraded to a room with a view. Good to see some old faces and new people. There were even two couples from Taunton - Ernie and Russell, who play at Taunton Bridge Club too and their wives Betty and Rosemary - a coincidence.
The first day was a gentle stroll around the outskirts of Hawes.
These sheep were butting heads but by the time I was ready with the camera they had stopped!
The view from my bedroom on our return.
