Yarlington Hall and Bruton

Took my friends Glenys and Pauline on a mystery trip to an open day at Yarlington Hall, Yarlington, Somerset. There was a plant sale and an open gardens so we took the opportunity for lots of photos. We went on to Wincanton hoping to take photos in the catholic church, St Lukes but we were disappointed as there was nothing there for us. Then to Bruton where we snapped to our hearts' content.

Wire figures were made out of chicken wire and were all sold. Made me want a garden to put them in.

This figure was commissioned by the Count de Salis from the lady who made the ones in the first photo.

You will notice the figure at the end of the arch of trees in a later photo. I cut her out and put her on the lawn.

I think this toilet was for the use of the stall holders but we found it. I liked the paintings in here.

The owner of this dog, very kindly, got him to pose for us.
