Day out to Blue Pool and Tyneham
On Sunday 15th April, Pauline, Glenys, Susan and I had a day out to Dorset. We stopped at Poundbury, on the outskirts of Dorchester, for coffee. We made our way to Blue Pool which is just outside Wareham. www.bluepooltearooms.co.uk
Blue Pool
Little Pool - a haven for dragonflies in season.
Sika deer looking down from Sika walk.
Blue Pool from the other end.
We stopped in at Tyneham on the way back. The village is usually only open on holidays. We spent time wandering around the deserted houses and the farmyard. I thought the farmyard to be the most interesting and the only place with some atmosphere.
