Cruising on the P & O Oriana

A very relaxing cruise to the eastern Mediterranean. Spent the sea days playing Bridge and the port days taking photos. First stop at Cadiz.
Next stop Cephalonia
On to Dubrovnik. Unfortunately, the town was in shadow as we sailed in during the sunrise. However, the sun lit up the Queen Victoria as she sailed in, in front of us.
You will notice a few washing photos in this post. Now to Venice. A beautiful sunrise then the clouds came over and the light was too flat for photos as we sailed in. Luckily it was lovely for the sail away.
We saw the rubbish being collected then put on to the barge. The carriages they use have stuffed toys on the front just like our waste collection lorries. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to snap one of those.
Apologies to this man who isn't doing the graffiti.
A day at sea to relax after our 3 hectic port visits. Naples is next. Most of the tours went off to Pompeii, Capri and Sorrento. Mum and I just browsed in the historic centre. We found a lovely cafe and sat watching the life go on. There were about 3 people trying to get hold of the electric wire and each time it dropped off the broom. We found this shopping street which was filled with the same stuff for the tourists.
The last stop was Oporto which was the first time visit for Oriana. The train station at Oporto is worth a visit to see the beautiful blue tile paintings.
