Skye

I arrived in Skye on Sunday afternoon with rain still pouring down. On Monday I drove around the north of the island and snapped a few shots. If you like knitting then you should visit Shilasdair on the Waternish penisula. Lots of scenic views too. Best coffee, lunch and pizza at the Italian restaurant in Portree. Visit Skye Batiks - a must.


The one above is actually on Sunday evening when the rain finally stopped and the sun made an appearance. I walked down to the bay at Earlish and was observed by the sheep. I warn you that there will be a lot of sheep on my visit!

My last stop was Dunvegan castle where I strolled around the grounds.
