Alpine Bridge in Yorkshire - Free day

Set off by myself to Masham.  A visit to the Theakstons brewery was on the schedule but I gave it a miss, not being a beer drinker.  I wanted to visit the nearby Fountains Abbey.  I had a delicious coffee at Masham then set off again.  Fountains Abbey showed me how much it is worth joining the National Trust.  A wonderful property and I will return.

The cloisters.

St Mary's church

Brimham rocks which is on the way back to Hawes is worth a visit.

The Dancing Bear.
Rood loft in Hubberholme.  We played bridge in the morning as it was raining, then went to the pub in Hubberholme for lunch.
