I signed up for a walk as part of An Lanntair's book festival. We joined up with Mairi, an artist who, together with her neighbour Tom, had organised the walk. We walked out to the shielings, sketching details and in my case, taking photos. Had a lovely meal at the shielings and then some walked back, some went back in the jeep and others had a go in the tractor trailer. We were accompanied by Tom's dog Lochy.
