Buxton with RPS Visual Art Group

My first time on the mainland since I moved to Lewis.  I drove down to a b & b in New Lanark then on to Buxton the next day.  A lovely weekend as usual with the Visual Art Group.  I had a workshop with Martin Addison - so inspiring and just what was needed to get me photographing again.  I had visitors when I got back - another post with those images, then a photo workshop with Margaret Soraya and yet more images to sort out, hence the delay in posting recently.

Here are some images - a lot of abstracts - of the things I took on the weekend.

A wonderful park in Buxton with lots of opportunities for images

Trying out a tip on this mandarin duck which involves pushing the curves to the limits.

Stopped off at Chatsworth with Carol and Mark.  Lots of flowers still in bloom

Stopped off in Motherwell on the way back after a visit with friends Helen and George, then on to Ullapool for the ferry.  Really enjoyed the trip but glad to be back in Lewis.

Hope to post some more in the next few weeks.
