To Wareham and The Springfield Country Hotel for the Visual Art Group autumn weekend. After meeting everyone at the welcome drink, we were given a presentation by Robert Harvey on his Coastal Landscape Photography before his two workshops. After some stunning images it was dinner . After dinner there was opportunity to show members' images and then a long sleep for those not on the early morning workshop.
I took the Autumn Colour workshop with Victoria Hillman on Saturday. It rained most of the day so we stayed in the hotel and took images from the colourful gardens. This meant we could keep most of our kit dry and have a warm room to get dry. Lots of helpful tips to keep trying.

A multiple exposure but not a patch on Victoria's example |
We had presentations by Robert on the night sky and Victoria on Forgotten Little Creatures. Another inspiring evening especially viewing members' prints.
On Sunday I went with newbie Claire to Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door and Tyneham. Presentation in the evening was by Guy Martin who talked about his work on "The Parallel State"

All too soon our weekend had ended. Luckily I am back in Dorset for a week but with walkers this time.
Thanks to Andreas and Sue for organising another successful weekend.
