Slovenia with Voice of the People choir

Off to Slovenia with Yvette Staelens' Voice of the People choirs organised by Brian Smedley of Bridgewater International.   There were about 50 of us.  We flew from Bristol to Venice.  Flight was delayed so no time to see a bit of Venice.  It meant we got in earlier to Portoroz, our first stop in Slovenia.

The next day we walked to Piran, an old Roman town before we were on the coach again, this time to Bled where we were going to sing at the concert.

The wedding party went to the island too for their wedding

On Sunday we had the whole day to sightsee.  Most of us followed Brian up to Castle Bled where we had an impromtu rehearsal.  A couple of tourists who heard us met us later in our hostel in Venice.
