Aberdovey for the second time

Met up with the women I used to power walk with for the second time in Aberdovey. Penny, Yvonne, Jean and Barbara. A great time was had by all.

The ship canal from the balcony.

A walk along the beach at Aberdovey. Had a coffee afterwards at our favourite coffee shop with the yellow parasols.

Went to the Centre of Alternative Technology. Great place - I recommend it. Allow 2-3 hours.

Taken on a walk to Picnic Island, Aberdovey.

Penny put us on the steam train and took the car to the other end. She obligingly waved the Thomas the Tank engine flag from the road.

A walk around the lake before Sunday lunch. Looking at the fish and playing pooh sticks. The sticks kept getting stuck under the bridge so this was an alternative way of doing it. Yvonne required a lift over the wet bit! Walked along cemetery beach afterwards.

The house we stayed in is above the large orange chimney. The one with the balcony.

Mrs Blackbird came around while we were having coffee so several shots were taken of her. Just one here! We went off to Harlech on the train - beautiful views.

Dragons' teeth between Barmouth and Aberdovey.

View from the balcony.

Yvonne took these two. I love the houses in Aberdovey but failed to take a photo!

Thought I would add these cuties from Slimbridge. I took them today when I went to the AGM.
