Photoworkshop - Istanbul

Signed on for the Wanderlust/Traveller's Tales photo workshop in Istanbul. Usual loads of fun. Lots learnt and plenty of photos. These are just a few. Thanks to Lyn, Jon and Steve.
On the first day we went out to photo 'stock shots' I managed to catch Ann, my roommate taking a photo in the bazaar.

On the way to evening meal on Saturday I spotted these two women talking to the men. Unfortunately, they are out of focus and centred but I wanted to know what they were waiting for. The rest of the photos are visits to Topaki Palace and outside the Blue Mosque. The group of women came towards us and were happy to pose. Ann and I waited until they stopped posing for the photos. The gold baubles were hanging off the curtains in the reception of the hotel. Ann was standing behind them - the coral colour is her t shirt.

Up at 4.50 on Sunday to photograph these Istanbul icons.

I loved the doors at the Blue Mosque then looked up and saw the ceiling. The black picture was part of the floor under one of the entrances.

Last afternoon of the course. A few photos of my free time in the grand bazaar. You can spot a few from the course going for lunch by the 'blue' shop. The photo of the Blue Mosque from one of the roof terraces was on the last evening.

Tried the baubles again with the aid of Pat's violet T shirt in the background.

The following were taken on my little camera. The first two were on the first evening and picture Ann and Madi then Jon and Lyn. The last few were on the way to the restaurant on the Sunday night and I had to take the cute cats and the dog resting on his master's shoe. Bella and Steve are obviously interested in whatever is going on on the opposite side of the table. Graham just wanted to poke his finger up Simon's nose!
