Marrakech photography course
I can recommend this course run by Traveller's Tales. http://www.travellerstales.org. I learnt a lot, not least to re read my instruction book and practice with my camera. The course also helped to assist with communication skills and confidence.
Our first task on Saturday was to take pictures in the Spice Market. Then back to the riad for lectures and downloading photos. These are a few from the first day.
Sunday saw the group in Majorelle Gardens with 5 different assignments. The first being colour - Shape was next Another half hour to take 'framing' photos - I found the Contrast task the most difficult although there was plenty of inspiration here
We then went back to one of our subjects and spent 25 minutes taking it again.
Monday was my favourite day - putting together a photo story. Mine was on doors and openings which I may include on another post.
The tutors were
Jon Lorie - Traveller's Tales and editor of The Traveller magazine www.travelleronline.com; Lyn Hughes -editor of Wanderlust magazine www.wanderlust.co.uk and Paul Harris - Professional photographer http://www.paulharris.net.

Oh Caroline, I wish I was you so much. All those experiences.
I had a look through all of your posts again, just amazed by the photos.
Mum is sitting in the mall selling paintings for the third week. Fingers crossed she actually sells one this time. I'm assuming Dad is with her or doing the grocery shopping. Pierre is in Melbourne still, he finishes uni next week because he doesn't have any exams, lucky.
I'm still working through my OT course, I start my year of placements at the end of July. But, before that I am running a camp in Proserpine and flying to Sydney for World Youth Day for the Catholic Church. My first placement is in Townsville (I think), the next one is in Rockhampton (confirmed)and I'm not sure about next year yet.
I hope everyone is well over there.
Love
Anna
