The jungle Story Part III
I had a little trouble with putting the photos on for part II and there may be some duplicates or gaps. These photos also show me back in Quito and on a little trip to a market place and a volcano, the names of which I have totally forgotten.
1) New species of glass or crystal frog. 2) An Arasari, part of the toucan family in case you were wondering! 3) Olivia and the Shaman 4) Shaman's children 5) Kris 6) Rob 7) Scot Kat 8) Laura 9) Kat Can 10) Me 11) Jen 12) The threesome 13) Spix's Guan 14) Back in Quito with the chess set Rob made in the jungle 15) Susan, Laura and Kat 16) and 17) Quito old town 18) Ropes in the market place 19) Market place 20) Steve trying out the new fashion 21) A mule ride back to the top of the volcano with Tracy, Steve's sister. Jen's mule had raced to the top before we had even started. 22) Finally, a fuzzy photo of the tamarin monkey I took at the second sun rise.
I forgot to mention the Alone in the Forest experience. There are no photos of this. We were left alone in the forest (within shouting distance and others were only 20 metres or so away) for an hour. A great opportunity to sit and listen to the forest. A hummingbird came and checked me out and I had two visits from a blue crowned manakin and wished I had had my camera primed and ready.
